Gorgeous ‘70s maxi dress done in plush velvet with an incredible and intricate print. A nearly identical dress appears in the book Valentino: 30 Years of Magic! That iconic Valentino fabric from 1971 spawned several period reproductions later in the decade, including this dress, I believe, which is missing it’s original designer label. Valentino actually recently revived the print, which can be found here for a whopping $4,600!

It’s a fabulous dress with some very cool history featuring a mock neckline, long slim sleeves, empire waist, and flowy maxi skirt. Zipper closure in the back.
