Returns

We hope you will be beyond thrilled with your La Poubelle Vintage purchase! We go to great lengths to present items accurately with detailed descriptions, photos, measurements, and condition notes. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need any additional information or have questions about sizing or condition.

All sales are considered final.

Returns will not be accepted for sizing issues as all measurements are provided. Please check our sizing guide here. If you have any questions about how an item will fit, please contact us prior to purchase.

Returns will not be accepted for minor imperfections. It is important to keep in mind that all items are 20-100 years old and have been previously worn. We indicate major flaws for any item in the condition notes.

Returns will not be accepted for color differences as all screens display color differently. Please contact us if you are in need of a very specific color.

However, if you feel an item has been grossly misrepresented, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will do our best to find a solution that works for both of us. Sale items are sold AS-IS and are non-returnable under any circumstances.

If an exchange or refund is agreed upon please send the item back in the same condition as it was delivered to you within 7 business days (15 for international customers). Items that have been altered, damaged, or worn will not be accepted. Any return under any circumstance may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Buyer is always responsible for any return shipping fees and original shipping fees are never refundable under any circumstance.

Any item that was returned without our express permission will face a 50% restocking fee. Any cancelled sales are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

LAYAWAY

We offer layaway on items over $100 after an item has been listed for 24 hours. A 25% deposit is required to begin the layaway process. The balance must be paid within 30 days. Any item not paid in full within the 30 day time frame will be re-listed and any subsequent deposits will be forfeited. Please contact us for more details and to set up a layaway plan.

SHIPPING

We ship worldwide via USPS. All items will be shipped within 3 business days if not sooner.

Domestic Orders: Buyers have the option to select USPS first class, priority, or express shipping at checkout. All shipping prices are calculated based on the individual weight of the item. Delivery confirmation is included with all domestic orders.

International Orders: Buyers have the option to select USPS First Class International or Priority mail at checkout. First class international mail has an estimated delivery time of 2-6 weeks. Priority mail has an estimated delivery time of 1-2 weeks. Buyers are responsible for all customs charges, taxes, and fees.

La Poubelle Vintage is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. Shipping insurance is available at an additional cost.

PAYMENT

All payments are processed through Squarespace’s secure server. You have the option to select credit card, PayPal or Apple Pay at checkout.

All orders shipped within New York state will be subject to 8.875% NY sales tax.
