**Fred Leighton, though now known primarily for his jewelry, originally owned a small boutique in Greenwich village opened in 1959. He began by stocking crafts, antique jewelry, and clothing from around, he specifically favored Mexican handiwork. His brand eventually phased out clothing to focus exclusively on jewelry but this is a rare and cool piece from his early shop!
