Ultra chic 1950s cocktail dress done in black silk with lovely detailing throughout. Bodice and skirt have bands of cutout faggoting, mostly backed with pinky-beige fabric for an illusion effect, though the bands at the neckline and sleeves are sheer. Gathered V neckline, large bow at the bodice, fitted waist with inner ribbon belt for shape, gathered skirt, and additional rows of faggoting along the hem. Metal zipper closure in the back, partially lined.
