Deadstock 1970s Handmade Afghan Patchwork Dress-S/M
From our 1970s deadstock collection! These are backstock from a shuttered Manhattan shop and have been sitting untouched since the store closed in the early ‘80s!
Amazing dress handmade in Afghanistan in the 1970s inspired by traditional Kuchi dresses! Gorgeous cotton-rayon blend fabric with great weight and drape to it. Mixed floral and solid prints with checkered trim and a heavily embroidered bodice, so much beautiful handiwork went into these dresses! Rounded neckline, wide sleeves, fitted waist, and very full skirt. Zipper closure in the back, unlined. Sizing works for a small to medium but these look great a bit oversized too!
