Amazing 1950s dress set by Ceil Chapman done in chartreuse and black plaid cotton. It’s a rare departure from Chapman’s typical evening pieces, I’ve never seen such a wearable cotton piece from her! Dress is strapless dress and features a fold over bust, boning through the bodice, slight drop waist, and full skirt. Metal zipper and snap closures at the side. The jacket features lightly padded shoulders, small collar, double breasted button front, and cuffed 3/4-length sleeves. Unlined.
