A really lovely example of traditional Yeminite embroidery from the 1940s. I’ve sold a handful of these blouses over the years and they never cease to amaze me with the lovely handiwork that goes into them! This one is no exception with an intricately swirled and looped gold embroidery detail, flecked with red and green, that covers the bodice and sleeves. Blouse features a small standup neckline, short dolman sleeves, two button closures at the inside of the neckline, and straight shape with several darts in the bodice for shape. No closures, pullover style.
